Living Room- Before & After
The original room simply felt much too oppressive. The color palette was far too dark and busy. It felt very dated and congested with the oversized furniture.
The crystal ceiling light, as well the recessed lights definitely help to make the space feel more inviting. The Baker loveseat and Robert Allen wing chair are much more appropriately sized for the room. The taller legs and lighter fabrics also help them to not feel as heavy as the previous pieces.
The crystal light, wainscotting, furniture, and antique oak floor truly make this room feel like a modern colonial.
